The mosaic damascus blade and bolsters were forged by Rick from carbon steels. Both depict detailed buffalo skulls forged directly into the steel. A citrine thumb stud lends elegance. The blade is perfectly centered and has silky smooth action. Rick chose exhibition grade ancient walrus ivory scales in mottled cream, caramel and green tones. The ivory has been dovetailed to both front and rear bolsters for a perfect fit.
15N20 carbon steel liners have been meticulously hand fileworked and surround the damascus backbar. The backbar is fileworked, both inside and out. Even the screws have been hand fileworked and heat blued. As you would expect from Rick, exceptional fit and finish throughout!
