Description: The Toadsticker Modern Primitive Shiv depict the frog life cycle.
The blade was forged to shape from 1080 carbon steel. The flats are forge textured. The edge and spine were hand filed.
The handle scales are formed from shibuichi. This precious Japanese metal is an alloy combining 25% silver and 75% copper. The resulting alloy has a silver tone. The left scale shows a frog's progression from egg, to various stages of tadpole. The right scale represents the full grown frog jumping into the aether. The knife is accompanied by a presentation case made from black walnut. An antler retaining pin completes the presentation. Exceptional work throughout!
