Description: Bob Lay's designs are well thought through and show an amazing degree of craftsmanship. I'm a fan of Bob's work -- it is consistently extremely well done and his sense of design always shines through.
The warm toned spalted maple and dark walnut are nicely complimented by brass fittings. Alternating brass and black fiber spacers assist the handle to adjust to changes in temperature and humidity. The brass guard and butt cap create a perfect balance in the hand.
The ATS-34 stainless steel blade is satin finished in the hollow grinds and mirror polished on the flats, resulting in clean, crisp grind lines. Accompanied by a leather sheath, cordura storage pouch, and certificate from the maker.
