Description: This exceptional reliquary was made by Tom Sterling. His sense of whimsy and skill of implementation clearly come through this one-of-a-kind masterpiece.
8th Plague Reliquary is a fantasy "puzzle" reliquary for a tiny grasshopper knife created by hand forging, engraving and carving 1080 carbon steel. The reliquary case and drawer is formed from elk antler, American black walnut, ziricote, coper and Argentium silver. The copper lid of the drawer (the top of the reliquary features an engraved cartouche of Ramses II. A hand forged copper and silver display rack is concealed below the knife storage in the drawer. Exceptional work throughout on a very creative knife.
