Description: Aaron Wilburn, who was honored as a journeyman smith in June 2009, creates knives for the serious hunter and this dress hunter is a great example of his work.
The damascus blade was forged to shape from his own damascus. The complex firestorm pattern is both bold enough to grab attention from a distance and to keep fascination when examined up close. The blade is distal tapered for optimal balance. A rounded spine assures comfort.
The elk antler handle is surrounded by alternating stainless and black fiber spaces. These spacers assist the handle to adjust to temperature and humidity changes when used out in the field.
The knife is accompanied by a hand stitched, hand tooled pouch style leather sheath.
