Description: This knife was hand forged from a pieces of 2-inch square stock W2 carbon steel, then carefully heat treated using a temperature controlled oven to obtain its very best performance. The blade was clay coated during heat treatment to create the unique transitional hardness line known as a hamon. This Japanese technique results in a soft, supportive spine, with an ultra-hard, long lasting edge. The guard and spacer are made from damascus and the handle is a beautiful piece of stabilized box elder burl.
This knife would make a great gift for any outdoors person, be it hunting, camping, or just hiking, it's ready to go.
