Erik began by forging out six separate bars of twisted W's pattern Damascus from 1084 and 15N20 carbon steels. These were then combined together into a highly complex, detailed pattern. By forging the blade to shape Erik assures that the complex pattern follows the blade shape. 1084 and 15N20 carbon steels, matched with his expert heat treatment assures a keen, long lasting edge. The stainless steel guard and pins compliment the straight grained blackwood handle. This knife is sure to be a prize in any collection or tremendous use knife. Excellent fit and finish throughout.
