Description: Alan Warren creates a dramatic and exceptional knife. The blade is formed from PM steel. This technique of making steel results in a smaller grain structure -- and therefore a keener, longer lasting cutting edge. A hand satin finish lends an heirloom quality. The spine is hand fileworked for thumb purchase.
Swirling grain structure in the dark, dyed and stabilized maple burl handle is nicely contrasted by a fossil walrus ivory spacer. Mosaic pins and a lanyard hole complete the handle. Thin black fiber spacers assist the handle to adjust to temperature and humidity changes. Accompanied by a very dramatic, hand tooled, hand stitched leather sheath by Alan. Excellent fit and finish throughout.
