Description: Bill Burke, who was honored as a master smith June 2008, makes knives that are as high performance as they can get. This dramatic bowie is no exception.
The long, clip point blade is a complex combination of 5 twist pattern bars set in opposition. The resulting pattern is immediately captivating. By using O1 and L6 carbon steels, Bill has assured a keen, long lasting edge. This knife follows the same heat treatment techniques that Bill uses for his high performance hunters. A stainless steel guard separates the blade from the handle. A damascus ferrule moves into the carved African blackwood handle. The handle is exceptional, with graceful lines and a tremendous feel when held. Excellent fit and finish throughout.
