Description: Narwhale is among Cliff Parker's masterpieces -- combining his narwhale pattern damascus with narwhale tusk scales.
Cliff creates knives that push the limits of what is possible. The action is super-smooth and blade perfectly centered. Here, he has created a very sleek profiled liner lock folder (due to the complexity of the mechanism, liner locks tend to be fairly thick). Cliff has spent considerable time over the past several years testing and experimenting his designs to create a knife that is sturdy, but as low profile as possible.
The blade and bolsters are formed from Damascus steel forged from 15N20 and 1084 carbon steels. Highly detailed images of narwhale are forged directly into the steel. This theme is continued with narwhale tusk scales. The polished surface shows the underlying twisted texture of the tusk. The screws have been heat colored. Walrus ivory thumb stud. The fit and finish is as good as it gets.
