Description: The Heavin Forge team, led by Mastersmiths Kevin and Heather Harvey, makes exceptional knives and this drop point utility hunter is no exception.
This knife features a full tang and blade hand-forged from differentially heat-treated 1055 carbon steel. The blade has been antiqued for an heirloom quality and shows a clear differential heat treatment line. Filework on the spine makes for a secure thumb purchase. The curly wild olive wood handle is nicely rounded and has a gentle bulge at the palm. The grain of the wood nicely compliments Heather's "Dazzle" pattern damascus bolsters. Fiber spacers allow the wood to adjust to temperature and humidity changes. A brown tooled cowhide belt sheath accompanies this spectacular work by the Heavin Forge Team.
