Description: South African knifemaker Andre van Heerden creates an amazing folder -- and at a price that could never be found from an American maker.
The slender dagger ground blade has silky-smooth action and is perfectly centered. The complex mosaic damascus pattern incorporates three separate bars of damascus steel. Bolsters are made from a complimenting mosaic Damascus and have also been heat blued. Steel throughout was forged by renowned steel maker, Ettoré Gianferarri, assuring that the patterns will be unique and different from those generally found on the American market. Exhibition grade mammoth ivory scales are a deep blue. The color is tremendously unique and dramatic. The scales are nicely dovetailed to the bolsters for a perfect fit. Excellent fit and finish throughout.
