Description: Shane Taylor's Batwing Fighters have long been among my favorite knife designs. The sleek shape is exceptionally comfortable and maneuverable when held.
The damascus blade has been differentially heat colored with golden tones at the edge and moving into blue/purple tones at the spine. The result is exceptionally dramatic. Both the blade and tang have strong distal tapers so as the bring the weight back to the center of the handle. The backbar has been meticulously hand fileworked. Mammoth ivory scales are green toned with hints of caramel and burnt cream tones. Ivory of this coloration is particularly rare and desirable. Each of the screws have been hand fileworked and heat blued. This knife is numbered 079. Exceptional work throughout!
