Description: Bob Lay's designs are well thought out and show an amazing degree of craftsmanship. Blonde sheep horn nicely sets off the dyed and stabilized box elder burl handle. The stainless steel guard and butt cap create a perfect balance in the hand. This brass, stainless steel and black fiber spacers alternate, allowing the handle to adjust to temperature and humidity changes when out in the field. By mirror polishing the flats of the blade and satin finishing the grinds, Bob creates a knife with grind lines that are very dramatic. The blade has been heat treated to 58Rc for optimal edge retention. Includes hand tooled sheath and cordura storage pouch. Accompanied by certificate from the maker.
