Description: Bob Lay's designs are well thought out and show an amazing degree of craftsmanship. Blonde sheephorn nicely offsets the green dyed stabilized box elder burl. The stainless steel guard and butt cap create a perfect balance in the hand. The spine is lightly fileworked, creating a perfect thumb rest. By mirror polishing the flats of the blade and satin finishing the grinds, Bob creates a knife with grind lines that are very dramatic. The blade has been heat treated to 58Rc for optimal edge retention. Accompanied by certificate from the maker.
