Description: Mastersmith David Anders is perhaps best known for his high end Bowies. When he puts his hand to a working knife, the result is equally exciting.
This drop point utility is an exceptional daily carry or hunting knife. The blade, tang, and integral guard are forged from 5160 carbon steel round bar for exceptional strength and durability. The blade was forged to shape and distal tapered for optimal balance. A differentially heat treatment results in a softer, supportive spine, with a super-hard, long lasting, razor sharp edge. The exhibition grade desert ironwood scales have a complex, swirling grain structure and warm tones. The handle is finished off with a lanyard hole. Excellent fit and finish throughout.
