Description: In 2006, Bill Burke has focused on expanding the types of knives that he is known for. Though he continues his love for the Fowler style knife, he also wants to create art knives and other styles of hunters with the same high performance edge. This is one such knife.
The blade incorporates a complex Damascus pattern that immediately grabs attention and gets all the more fascinating upon closer examination. Five separate bars of explosion pattern Damascus were combined to form the blade. Like his Pronghorn Hunters, this knife was pre-tested for edge flex and cutting ability before assembly. The heat treat follows the formulas developed by Ed Fowler, Bill's teacher, and has been proven to create some of the sharpest and most long lasting edges found anywhere.
The stainless steel guard separates the Damascus blade from the African blackwood handle. The handle has been well sculpted to fit comfortably into the hand in a variety of holds. Black fiber spacers allow the handle to adjust to temperature and humidity changes. Exceptional fit and finish throughout!
