Description: Anders Hogstrom has long been known as a bladesmith with an exceptional attention to detail. Here, he has turned his bladesmithing skills to an amulet well suited for either men or women.
The amulet measures approximately 2 in x 1 1/4 in. The backing was carved from sterling silver and has nearly 2 ounces in sterling weight. A cross-cut section of fossil walrus ivory has been inlaid to dramatic effect. Cream tones surround a tapioca core. The pendant is hung from a 31 1/2 in. antique string set with sterling silver end caps. Exceptional work.
