Description: While Arno Bernard is best known for his gentleman's hunting knives, every so often he puts his attention to a folder, and the result is exceptional. The Damasteel Damascus blade is very dramatic and will have excellent edge retention. A deep red faceted ruby is inlaid in the thumb stud. The blade has smooth action and is well centered. The bolsters are mosaic Damascus forged from carbon steels and depict an army of small spiders crawling toward the blade. Mammoth ivory has been dovetailed to the bolsters and sits on fully fileworked, blue anodized titanium liners. The ivory combines blue/green and caramel tones. The partial titanium back strap helps keep the knife light and fast. Excellent work throughout on a very engaging knife.
