Description: The blackened Chinese gold of the bolster and handle pins provide additional visual interest to this quintessential Högström piece. This is among the first pieces on which Anders used the blackened Chinese gold. The filed groove between the handle and bolster is even and the knife has exceptional fit and finish throughout. The balance rests comfortably over the first finger when the knife is held. The traditional Japanese clay tempering method Anders uses has graced this blade with a fine, deep hamon and imparted that hardened edge and softer spine that makes these knives so formidable.
