Description: Tom's fit and finish and Damascus have been developing at a fantastic rate. When I first encountered his work, I was impressed, and felt him to be one of the best new makers. With this new fighter, the first knife Tom has made with a mammoth ivory handle, he has clearly established himself as one of the great makers, new or otherwise. The Damascus is clean and dramatic. The design and style have a sense of refinement rarely found. The full tang and blade both have excellent distal tapers creating an amazing sense of balance.
