Description: Bob Lay's designs are well thought out and show an amazing degree of craftsmanship. The elk antler is offset with a green malachite spacer for excellent contrast. The stainless steel guard and butt cap create a perfect balance in the hand. By mirror polishing the flats of the blade and satin finishing the grinds, Bob creates a knife with grind lines that are very dramatic. The blade has been heat treated to 57Rc for optimal edge retention. Accompanied by certificate from the maker.
