Description: In Three Fingered Fighter, Anders combines Nordic and Japanese aesthetics to create a unique and captivating creation. The 1050 carbon steel blade shows a clear hamon, or heat treatment line created by using a traditional Japanese clay heat treating method. This is a sign of great skill and produces a knife that has a strong, resilient spine, with a very hard edge that will stay sharp well.
The handle utilizes exhibition grade golden maple burl. Flames move throughout the grain of the wood. Anders past career working as a fine woodworker clearly shines through in the handle. The natural wood handle is nicely complimented by the tapered black spacer and antiqued copper fittings. Exceptional fit and finish throughout.
