Description: Swedish knifemaker Greger Forselius has a sense of design rarely found elsewhere. The stacked handle combines caramel toned fossil mammoth ivory, reindeer antler and warthog tusk along with nickel silver spacers. The fossil mammoth ivory is side cut and has been textured (which is both visually enticing and provides a sure thumb rest). The fossil mammoth ivory has been sculpted and is surrounded by nickel silver spacers. The pommel is formed from warthog tusk. The top and base of the handle are finished off with stabilized masur birch. The blade is was forged by Swedish Bladesmith Johan Gustafsson. Carbon steels are combined into a bold twist pattern. Carbon steels assure a keen, long lasting edge. Excellent fit and finish throughout.
