Description: It was a great loss when in April 2005 Canadian knifemaker Jim Buchan passed away. His exceptional work is very much in demand and it is a great loss to the knife community and to his friends.
Jim Buchan created this dramatic hunter using time-tested designs. The combination of buffalo horn amber and dyed, stabilized birch burl results in a striking effect that is indicative of his work. The nickel silver guard and pommel create a perfect balance in the hand. The stainless Damascus blade by Damasteel has an intricate pattern. The blade has been heat treated to Rc 57/58 for optimal edge retention. Accompanied by certificate from the maker.
