Description: It is no surprise the this exceptional folder won "Best of Show" at the 2005 Gator Show.
Cliff creates knives that push the limits of what is possible. The action is super smooth and blade perfectly centered. Here, he has created a very sleek profiled liner lock folder with a total thickness of .33". Due to the complexity of the mechanism, liner locks tend to be fairly thick. Cliff has spent considerable time over the past several years testing and experimenting his designs to create a knife that is sturdy, but as low profile as possible.
The blade and bolsters are formed from matching mosaic Damascus steel. On the blade, Cliff has taken the same pattern and forged it into a twist. In both, complex images from radials, to globes, to ants, and Cliff's hallmark "CP" are easily seen. The bolsters meet perfectly to the premium mammoth ivory scales. The scales are a deep green. The screws have been detail fileworked and heat colored. 18kt gold thumb stud. The fit and finish is as good as it gets. The action is silky smooth. The blade is perfectly centered.
