Description: Tom's Orca chef is his own modification on the traditional Santoku pattern -- the classic Japanese chef's knife. The blade has a nice rock and the handle sits comfortably in the hand. The Damascus pattern of the blade is very dramatic and immediately grabs attention. The titanium ferrule forms a barrier between the blade and the exhibition grade amboyna burl handle. The burl has a nice swirling grain that nicely compliments Tom's choice of Damascus. Exceptional work throughout.
