Description: Jim creates this 4" drop point hunter with spectacular fit and finish. The distal tapered tang brings the weight to just behind the nickel silver guard for optimal balance. The blade has been fileworked along the spine, stopping just behind the guard. The blade was heat treated by a true expert in ATS-34, D'Alton Holder.
Jim chose stabilized sea cow bone for the handle. The mosaic pins utilize black liners to help adjust to changes in temperature and humidity. Jim has hollow ground the blade and given it a mirror polish. This knife will be just as at home in a high end collection for use in the field.
