Description: Errett Callahan is considered by many to be the "Bill Moran" of flint knapped knives. His designs are inventive, yet strive for authenticity.
This exceptional hunter is one that Errett kept in his personal collection from when it was made until now. It was the first knife that he made in 1990 and was featured in one of the early copies of Knives Annual. The blade is held into the elk handle using sinew and fish glue. The handle is expertly scrimmed by Alan Tramel. A Native American archer is shown preparing to shoot a goose high in the sky. The archer is shown with exceptional detail and is very lifelike in appearance. Tremendous work throughout.
