Description: A truly unique folder! The Kukri, which was used in battle and the hunt by the Gurka people was worn proudly. They honor it as a special weapon which contains a spirit of its own. Ed's folding interpretation features a san mai blade (52100 carbon steel is sandwiched between layers of cable Damascus). The resulting mirror polished blade is very dramatic and will have exceptional edge holding. 52100 continues to be my favorite steel for a long lasting edge. The liners are 15N20 carbon steel. A single piece of exhibition grade blue toned fossil mammoth ivory is put on the maker side. The blade has silky smooth action and is perfectly centered.
