Description: Anders Högström has created a masterful Swedish Bowie. The blade, which measures 10 3/4" has tremendous impact. It was forged from 1084 and 15N20 carbon steels and has been lightly heat colored for a timeless appearance. It is the first Damascus blade that Anders has forged! Let's hope there will be many more. The clip travels the length of the blade, stopping behind the tip for a reinforced armor piecing tip. Antiqued Chinese Gold fittings surround a handle formed from very rare musk ox horn. The convoluted grain of the horn is slightly translucent, showing tremendous depth in the material. A leather lanyard is attached to the end, completed by two jet beads. Exceptional work throughout!
