Description: Bladesmith Mardi Meshejian creates some of the most captivating knives anywhere. His sense of style is only matched by his ability to combine materials into a masterpiece.
The random pattern Damascus wharncliffe style blade has an organic shape like a pointing finger. The spine has been rounded for a very comfortable feel. A textured copper habaki (blade protector) leads into the anodized titanium guard. Thin copper spacers surround the purple anodized titanium spacer. This finally leads into the walrus artifact handle. In 1800s Alaska, many fossil walrus ivory pieces were used as tools, ranging from fishing weights to sled runners, to fire starters. This handle, a slim cylinder was one of such piece. Mardi has retained the shape as much as possible, leaving the ancient carving at the base. A titanium pin secures the handle.
Exceptional fit and finish throughout.
