Description: Cliff creates knives that push the limits of what is possible. The action is silky smooth and blade perfectly centered. Here, he has created a folder that is among the sleekest profiled liner lock folders that I have ever had the pleasure to hold. Due to the complexity of the mechanism, liner locks tend to be fairly thick. Cliff has spent considerable time over the past several years testing and experimenting his designs to create a knife that is sturdy, but as low profile as possible.
Dramatic, clear Damascus is only matched by the quality of the sculpted white lip mother of pearl scales. The Damascus features many different flowers, butterflies and the occasional 'CP' (for Cliff Parker). By creating a slight twist to the Damascus on the blade, Cliff brings tremendous diversity and interest to the patterns that make that butterflies appear to fly. The mother of pearl scales are exhibition grade, with a spectacular full spectrum flash and detailed figure. Texturing and sculpting only adds to the effect. The liners and screws have been fully fileworked. A matching Damascus backbar adds elegance, surrounded by the detail vine fileworked and anodized titanium liners. The blue sapphire thumb stud highlights the blues in the liners. Two pieces of mother of pearl have been inlaid into the backbar.
