Description: The Batwing Fighter is one of the hallmark knives of Mastersmith Shane Taylor's career. It has elegant lines and is perfectly balanced in the hand. The slim profile means that it is easy to have close at hand and ready when needed. The ricasso is .25" thick to give strength where it's needed. The tang is gracefully tapered and the spine of the knife and screws are fileworked. The Damascus combined with the African blackwood handle makes this a very elegant piece. The blackwood scales have been dovetailed to the integral bolsters for a truly masterful effect.
This knife was created in 2000 and is stamped 007 (7th knife of 2000). It has been held in a single collection and has never been used to cut. It is in new condition.
