Description: This sidelock folder has a sleek profile that is refreshing in a field of larger folders reliant on thick liners. The handle is made from Gibeon Meteorite that landed in Great Namaqualand, Namibia, Africa, over 4 billion years ago. The Gibeon fragments are spread over one of the largest strewn fields in the world, measuring 70 miles wide by 230 miles long and have a distinctive pattern known as the Widmanstatten pattern, which is one of the richest and most distinct patterns found in meteorites. The same meteorite is used for the backbar (something that I have otherwise never seen on a folder
The Damasteel blade is hollow ground and is easily opened using the flipper design. The blade has been hardened then sub-zero quenched in liquid nitrogen and double tempered for maximum edge holding ability. The indent ball is silicon nitride.
Excellent fit and finish with a perfectly centered blade and great action. Accompanied by certificate from the maker.
