Description: Jim contours his handles to fit exactly into the hand, and this sturdy hunter is no exception. Like his chef's knives, the knife is comfortable in several grips. Pleasant to the eye and even nicer to the hand. The blade and tang are distal tapered, giving a really good balance and feel. Extensive modified serpentine filework runs from the butt to halfway down the blade, which has been hardened and double tempered, for excellent edge holding ability and strength. Suitable for most field-work involved in hunting. This design has a point small enough to fit into small areas and enough belly to be useful for skinning.
