Blade: 5160 carbon steel forged to shape, edge hardened and triple tempered to a 58-59 Rc, with a hand rubbed satin finish
Bolster: Double elliptical hammered German silver with an ebony butt cap on the rear guard
Handle: Alternating layers of ebony and zebrawood, stacked and separated by German silver spacers , then treated with sealers and waxed to keep out moisture
Sheath: Deluxe leather sheath by Schrap Custom Leather
Description: This stylized Bowie sports a distal tapered blade with a clip point and a false edge. Extensive modified serpentine file-work runs from the guard to half way down the blade. The blade has been edge hardened, double tempered, and torch annealed along the spine for durability and optimal edge retention. With the balance point just .75” in front of the guard, this blade is quick and lively in the hand. The strong leather sheath has an inset Sacagawea golden dollar.
