Description: Malachite and azurite are both soft stones that can be difficult to work with because of their tendency to crack and flake, so using the reconstituted stone allows more durable but equally beautiful creations. That is exactly what Kevin has done in this stunning little folder. The gun blued blade and bolsters are made of Heather's "Damsel Damascus" and present an excellent foil for the intense blue and green of the azurite-malachite.
